We have converted our 'curved overhang' and 's' walls into purely bouldering walls, providing excellent angles and heaps of corners to make interesting problems. We are also putting bouldering problems on the horizontal roof (along with some roped climbs).
We have also added problems to the right side of the arété, which is about 65º overhanging.
The area also has it's own new downlighting installed in the walls, and it's own 400mm thick continuous (no joins to fall between!) soft fall matting - which was replaced in March 2008.
Lead Roof/Headwall Extension
We have added the overhanging arété to the back wall, which now joins onto the horizontal roof and then the headwall to make a continuous overhanging lead climb of around 28mts length, and a harder variant start to the normal roof.
If you think that's a bit long or steep, there are also climbs set just to the stalectites, still steep but a little shorter!
