We have a huge selection of 'Training Boards' or 'Finger Boards', from all around the world, for customers to play on. We believe a variety of these boards offers you a greater selection of routines and exercises and minimises your chance of RSI injuries. We also understand that everyone is different and that not everyone wants to (or can) do one finger cranks on the Yaniro Powerboard!
Training is an essential part of climbing, like any sport. If you wish to improve and succeed, then a little training will be required.
It's always important when using a training board, of any kind, to not 'overdo' it. There are heaps of books available on training and preventing RSI and tendon injuries. Try our online store, or at the gym. In addition, some guides in PDF form are provided at the bottom of this page.
This Original Chinup Board from EP France, the 'Master Grip' was the test piece of training boards, released in 1993. We purchased several of them back in '93 and 10 years later they are still going and are one of the most popular boards we have.
The huge jugs make it ideal for warm-down chin ups or stretching that tired old back! or for those just getting in to training.

The mother of all EP Boards. The "Training Board" from EP France. This is their most versatile fingerboard with a range of holds to suit everyone. The hardest holds are the two slopers either side of the central top jug - we've only seen one person do pull-ups hanging/palming off these slopers!
This is like a mini-mini campus board, with no protruding grips, simply inverted rungs with varying degrees of 'slope'.
In 2008 we also installed the Lapis Training Board, which has a massive range of grips, including additional 'bolt-on' rotatable holds.
We also added an 'elastic' to this board, to allow those that may not have used a training board before, to get some extra'foot' assistance!

These are fantastic for training arms, with a range of exercises available.
These are small custom curved wooden blocks that hang like Rock Rings and are also used as a pair. The four hold combination allows for a variety of pull-up related training exercises.
This 8mt slackline, setup atop 400mm of playgound soft fall, is a great way to improve coordiantion and balance. Open for use most days, weather depending!
