| ALL participants are required to complete a Waiver Form. Those under 18 years MUST have their Parent Sign the Waiver Form before they can climb. Teachers and other relatives ARE NOT PERMITTED TO SIGN. This form includes an information sheet for parents, explaining the Waiver Form. We only require the first page to be completed and returned. Failure to bring the signed Waiver Form will result in the student being unable to climb. |

| NEW 2007 Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors: In October 2007, the Department of Education (Vic) released new Risk Management Policies for secondary schools, Safety Guidelines for Education Outdoors. After investigation, we believe these do not apply to us, as students will be climbing in an "artificial environment" and the Department distinguishes between the real and artificial environments. For those that wish to follow these guidelines, for indoors as well, we have created a document that answers all of the questions you will need to answer whilst completing Risk Management Forms. |
