Birthday Parties

An "extreme" rock climbing party is designed to suit climbers from as young as 4 and up to 14 years of age.

An 'extreme' birthday includes:

1½ hours of climbing
All Climbing Equipment(including kiddie sized climbing shoes)
Full Supervision (1 instructor per 6 children)
Instruction
Birthday Child receives a Birthday Card
A birthday experience they won't forget in a hurry!

PRICING is based on a 'per 6 children' basis. i.e. if you have up to 6 children, you pay for 6, if you had 8 children, you pay for 12. See the table below for pricing, deposits required and numbers of parents required to help out.

We can also arrange for catering for your party, from the onsite Cruiser Bar and Cafe within our sporting complex. They can provide several different birthday packages ranging from $7.50 to $9.50 per child. Note: any catering is provided after the 1½ hours of climbing. Catering is currently not available after 2pm on Sundays.

Children's "extreme" birthdays at Cliffhanger are different to conventional birthdays and provide a unique environment that will leave the kids talking about their party for months.
We provide 1 instructor per 6 children, to ensure the uptmost safety of all the participants, but it is also assumed that parents will also be actively involved.

ALL participants under 18 years of age, will require their PARENT to sign a Waiver Form before participating. Birthday Party Hosts and older siblings are NOT permitted to sign on behalf of the children.
